Pricing and fees

No card fees. You pay for fuel.

No setup fee, no monthly fee, no transaction fee. The price you pay is the price we emailed you the night before.

The model

What fees does ZyloFuel charge?

None. You pay for the fuel you buy, at your price. That is the whole model.

We make our money on fuel, not on charges bolted onto your account. There is nothing to add up at the end of the month and nothing to argue about.

You should not need a fee schedule to understand a fuel card.

The fee list

What you will not be charged

Seven charges you will find on other fuel cards, and will not find on ours.

  • No setup fee

Some providers charge just to open your account.

  • No monthly or annual fee

Others bill a fixed amount per truck every month, whether you fuel or not.

  • No transaction fee

Others take a cut of every single fill.

  • No admin fee

Often charged per litre at stations outside a provider's network.

  • No payment processing fee

Some charge you for the way you choose to pay them.

  • No reinstatement fee

Some charge to switch your account back on after a suspension.

  • No fee to check your bill

Some charge to investigate their own billing. Our support is free.

Take that list to whoever you fuel with now. Ask them which ones they charge.

Prepaid or credit

Which one should I pick?

Pick on how you want to pay, not on price. Both run on the same network at the same locations, and both get tomorrow's prices the night before.

Your price is set for your account. It comes from how much you buy, where you fuel and the deal we agree with you. Depending on those, the two can land at the same place.

So the real question is cash flow. Credit lines your fuel bill up with your settlements, on a cycle we set with you. Prepaid means nothing owed and no invoice to watch. Tell us how your money moves and we will tell you which one fits.

Prepaid

Nothing owed

Load the card, fuel, pay nothing later. No credit check, no invoice to watch.

Credit

Fuel now, pay later

One invoice by direct debit on your billing cycle, set to line up with your settlements. On approved credit.

Checking your price

How do I know I am getting the right price?

Because you saw the price before your driver pulled in, and you can check every line against it afterwards.

  1. The night before

    You get tomorrow's price

Emailed before your drivers fuel, not printed on an invoice days later.

  2. At the pump

    Every fill emailed

You see each transaction as it happens, not at the end of the week.

  3. On the invoice

    Nothing you have not seen

Every line is a settled fill at the price you were quoted.

You can check every line yourself. That is the point.

Commitment

Is there a contract?

No. There is no contract and you can stop any time. If you do want to commit to a term, we can give you a better price for it. That is your choice, not a condition of getting the card.

We would rather keep you because the price is right than because you signed something. If a term suits you, ask us and we will price it. If it does not, nothing changes.

Straight answer

Are there any charges at all?

No card fees. But an account is still an account, so two things are worth saying out loud.

Normal account terms

If a payment is returned unpaid there is a charge, the same as with any account. It is written in plain words in our Terms, not buried in them.

Fuelling off the network

Your card works at 12,000+ locations, but the discount price applies at the 2,700+ network ones. Off network you pay the station's price. We do not add a fee on top.

That is the complete list. If you find something on your invoice we did not tell you about here, we got it wrong and we will fix it.
