Most fuel card misuse is not dramatic. It is a personal fill on a company card. A jerry can on the side. A card lent to a friend for the weekend. Limits stop most of that before it starts. Truck-verified unlock stops the rest.
A card that only works at your truck is a much smaller target than one that works all the time.

How do I know the right driver is fuelling the right truck?
Switch on truck-verified unlock and the card stays blocked until your driver scans the code mounted in that truck.

An encrypted code mounted on the dashboard of that truck, read in our driver app.

Nobody has to remember to switch it off. That is the point.
Be clear about what this proves. It proves the card is at your truck. It does not prove which tank the diesel went into. That is what your litre limits are for, and why we set them with you.

What if my driver's phone is dead or there is no signal?
Call us and we unlock the card.
A cardlock at the back of an industrial park at two in the morning is exactly where a phone gives up. Your driver is not stuck there. One call and the card works.

You set the rules per card, not per account. Every truck can be different.

What do I see when a card is used?
An email on every transaction, the moment it happens.
Truck, litres, location, time. Not a summary at the end of the month, when the fill you would have questioned is four weeks cold.
If something looks wrong, block that card from the customer portal. It works on your phone, so you do not need to be at a desk to do it.

What if fraud still happens?
The card network watches every transaction and blocks suspicious cards automatically. If a fraud claim is confirmed, the money is returned.
That layer runs whether you switch anything on or not. It is watching for the patterns that give card fraud away, and it does not wait for you to notice.
We are not going to tell you fraud is impossible. No card program can say that honestly.

- Can a driver use the card without the truck?
- Not if you turn on truck-verified unlock. With it on, the card stays blocked until your driver scans the code mounted in that truck, and it blocks itself again after the fill.
- Do I have to use truck-verified unlock?
- No. You choose, and you can choose per card. Some fleets run it on every truck. Others use litre limits and location rules instead.
- What happens if a card is lost or stolen?
- Block it yourself in the customer portal, which works on your phone, and order a replacement there. If that card had truck-verified unlock switched on, it cannot be used away from your truck anyway.
- What if my driver's phone is dead or there is no signal?

- Can I stop a card being used for anything except diesel?
- Yes. Product restrictions let a card buy diesel and nothing else, so it cannot be used on snacks, cigarettes or anything else in the store.
